Corporate Health &
Wellness Consulting

The 2025 Benefits Canada Healthcare Survey made it clear that companies believe Corporate Health & Wellness is important: 85% of plan sponsor respondents shared they were investing in the improvement of at least one wellness focus area (a 4% increase from 2024) and 50% of those reported they had an established long-term wellness strategy (signifying the adoption and recognition of a strategic approach to workplace wellness program design and implementation).

The rationale for workplaces providing health promotion initiatives for their employees can vary and may include outcome goals such as increasing employee engagement and attracting and retaining top talent. Better-management of absenteeism and disability rates, lessening drug costs and encouraging a positive company culture can also act as impetus for offering staff health & wellness programs. When considering the systemic factors which obstruct some individuals from realizing optimal wellbeing, the workplace can become a supportive environment which gives more access to opportunities to improve one’s health. Some companies will provide wellness programs just because they feel it is the “right thing to do.”

The efficacy of workplace wellness programs, and the potential return on investment, are heightened exponentially and proportionately to how strategic the efforts are, and how consistently they are offered. Investing in an on-site wellness manager can be an expensive endeavor and may not be an accessible option in this current economic climate. By using the services of a consultant, organizations have access to the information necessary to design and implement an effective wellness strategy tailored to the needs of their company.
