Better-management of absenteeism and disability rates, lessening drug costs and encouraging a positive company culture can also act as impetus for offering staff health & wellness programs. When considering the systemic factors which obstruct some individuals from realizing optimal wellbeing, the workplace can become a supportive environment which gives more access to opportunities to improve one’s health.
